<B>1893-CC $1 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> David Bowers, in his 2004 <I>A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars,</B></I> writes of the 1893-CC, the last of the Carson City dollars, that "Mint State 1893-CC dollars are well known for being extensively bagmarked, some actually appearing quite abused. Accordingly, the majority of Mint State pieces are in lower MS grades." Bright, untoned surfaces on this MS62 specimen display sharply impressed design elements, and lack the heavy abrasions that usually plague the issue. We mention some relatively unobtrusive luster grazes and hairlines on the obverse.
