<B>1893 50C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> This early-issue Barber half comes from a mintage of 1,826,000 circulation strikes, and while fairly tough in low grades, is slightly more available in About Uncirculated condition and above (David Lawrence, 1991). MS65 and finer examples are somewhat more elusive. The MS65 piece in the current lot is brilliant, or nearly so, and exhibits radiant luster. The design elements are sharply delineated throughout. A few minuscule marks prevent the next highest grade. A super coin in all respects!
