<B>1893 25C PR68 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> Ultra Cameo NGC.</B></I> The 1893 quarter came with 792 proof strikes, making this issue somewhat common. NGC and PCGS have, to date, certified more than 430 proof examples. The two services have given fewer than 100 specimens the Cameo designation, and a total of 17 coins rated the Ultra/Deep Cameo classification, including a PR65, six PR66s, nine PR67s (of which one was an NGC S), and the solitary PR68 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> making up this lot (3/07).<BR> White-on-black contrast immediately grabs the viewer's attention, and the heavily frosted motifs appear to glide over the deep watery fields when the piece is rotated beneath a light source.
