<B>1893 25C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Thick frost dominates the devices and suggests Ultra Cameo contrast, although NGC has not designated this prize as such. The strike is pinpoint-sharp, and the fields appear devoid of contact or hairlines. The proof mintage was much lower than that of the introductory 1892 issue; to channel Breen, perhaps collectors were already tired of the design? Nevertheless, collectors are sure to demand highly appealing examples of this resurgent series for years to come.
