<B>1893<25C> Isabella Quarter MS65 NGC.</B></I> In 1893 an enormous event called the World's Columbian Exposition was held near Chicago. Millions of visitors came to see exhibitions of new technology, agricultural equipment, architecture, and a host of others. This event was the catalyst for the first American commemorative coinage, including the 1893 Isabella quarter. This Gem example is well struck and lustrous, with light peripheral toning and smooth surfaces. A wispy luster graze in the upper left obverse field is noted for accuracy's sake, but is not overly distracting.
