1893 1C PR66 Red PCGS. Ron Sirna (2002) notes that, while generally available, the proof 1893 is "moderately scarce in full Red." Bountiful mint luster graces both sides of the present Gem in well blended orange and red shades. There is no toning, as befits the PCGS color designation, but original, deeply set, olive tinged undertones are noted as the surfaces rotate under the light. Razor sharp striking definition characterizes the pleasingly reflective features. An important bidding opportunity for the informed Indian Cent specialist. Population: 5 in 66, only two are finer as Red (1/03). Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
