This group of documents regarding creamery and dairy papers includes records from a variety of businesses. The California-Nevada Creamery Company, Fairmont Creamery Company, the Continental Creamery Company and the Jones Dairy Farm, among other companies. Document include accounts, correspondence, receipts, and a few cancelled checks. A majority of the papers come from the California-Nevada Creamery Company and the Continental Creamery Company. Successor to the Nevada Creamery and Commercial Company, the California-Nevada Creamery Company was located in Carson City, Nevada and was incorporated in 1892. The company processed milk from dairies throughout northern Nevada and central California. The Continental Creamery Company was located in Topeka, Kansas and is known for its patented the name "Meadow Gold" for its products.
