<B>1892-S $1 AU53 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> Ex: Diamond Head Collection (Heritage, 8/07). The mintage of 1.2 million implies the '92-S is scarce but collectible in Mint State. The implication is incorrect, since the '92-S is in fact one of the rarest dates in Uncirculated grades. Prooflikes are extremely rare, and none have been certified as Deep Mirror Prooflike. Although briefly circulated, the present lightly abraded piece has extensive flashy luster, and the orange and ocean-blue toning further confirms the eye appeal.
