<B>1892 Assay Commission Medal. MS63 Uncertified.</B></I> Julian AC-36, R.5. Silver, 33.7 mm., 350.3 grains. A bust of Benjamin Harrison faces left, his name in the field. The reverse is inscribed THE MINT OF THE UNITED STATES ANNUAL ASSAY, with 1892 in exergue below. A woman is kneeling and instructing a youth. Matte silver surfaces exhibit pewter-gray color with hints of blue and champagne color. Satiny underlying luster is evident on both sides. The obverse has a fine die crack through the base of Harrison's bust, indicating that the silver medals were coined before the copper examples.<BR><I>Ex: Saccone Sale (Bowers and Merena, 11/1989), lot 3483; G.
