<B>1892 25C PR64 Ultra Cameo NGC.</B></I> Type Two Reverse. The 1,245 proof quarters struck in 1892 represent the highest number for the Barber quarter proof series. NGC and PCGS have certified several hundred examples, attesting to the relatively high availability of the issue. Ultra/Deep Cameos are an entirely different story, as fewer than 50 pieces have been so designated (4/04). This near-Gem Ultra Cameo displays frosty, boldly struck motifs that appear to be suspended over mirrored fields. Untoned surfaces reveal a few minor handling marks that just barely prevent a Gem designation.
