1892 25C MS66 PCGS. Type One Reverse. The Seated Liberty design had been seen on the U.S. quarter for more than 50 years, so the introduction of Barber's new Liberty Head motif was quite a novelty for the American public. Consequently, relatively large numbers were saved for posterity and today the 1892 is one of the most widely available issues in Mint State. This wholly original example combines steel-gray centers with rich turquoise and orange peripheral toning. The underlying, satiny surfaces are typically bold and largely free from abrasions. Population: 78 in 66, 21 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
