<B>1892 10C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> The mint reportedly struck 1,245 dimes in proof format in 1892. About 450 or so examples have survived, if NGC/PCGS census/population data are any indication. Approximately 75 pieces carry the Cameo label. Untoned surfaces characterize the PR67 Cameo example offered in this lot, and a sharp strike emboldens the mildly frosted design features that stand out against reflective fields. Both sides of this lovely dime have been well cared for. The 9 and 2 of the date have been repunched.
