<B>1891-S $20 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1891-S double eagle was produced in relatively large numbers (1,288,125 pieces), and today is one of the more available issues of the 1890s. Many of these are finding their way back to the United States after having been used overseas for world trade. Most of these are highly abraded, and Choice specimens are scarce. This near-Gem is sharply struck, highly lustrous, and displays pretty green-gold patination. Some light obverse marks define the grade.
