<B>1891-S $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> Mint State 1891-S dollars, sporting a mintage of 5,296,000 pieces, are readily available through the near-Gem grade level, as attested to by the several thousand coins that have been seen through this condition by NGC and PCGS. Even MS65 examples are obtainable with a little patience and searching. Premium Gems are quite scarce, and MS67 specimens are rare.<BR> Coruscating luster adorns both sidles of this Superb Gem, and whispers of barely discernible incipient olive-green color shows up under magnification. A solid strike emboldens the design features, including delineation in the hair strands over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast feathers. Well preserved surfaces yield a satiny finish, and reveal no marks worthy of individual mention. A simply outstanding Morgan!
