<B>1891 S$1 MS64 Prooflike PCGS.</B></I> David Bowers writes of the 1891 dollar that: "Partially and fully prooflike coins exist, but usually have low contrast in relation to the design features, and accordingly, the demand for them is not great." Reflective fields on the near-Gem in this lot do indeed offer contrast with the design elements, which is brought out even more by their sharp definition, and by the lack of toning on the surfaces. Minute obverse marks limit the grade.
