1891-CC $5 MS64 PCGS. The 1892-CC five dollar, with its 208,000-piece mintage, is the most common Carson City half eagle. It is readily available though all AU grade grades, as well as the lower Mint State levels. It is moderately scarce in MS63, scarce in near-Gem, and extremely rare in Gem (Douglas Winter, 2001). A sharp strike emboldens the design elements of the MS64 coin in the current lot, and glowing luster issues from its peach-gold surfaces. Some minor handling marks define the grade. Population: 38 in 64, 1 finer (6/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
