<B>1891-CC $20 AU50 PCGS.</B></I> Trailing the first-year 1870-CC, the 1891-CC is the rarest double eagle produced at the Carson City Mint, with just 5,000 coins produced. Winter (2001) suggests that only 150-200 coins are extant in all grades. This scarce AU specimen displays honey-gold patina and wisps of red.
