1891-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. Pastel powder-blue and beige patination graces the highly lustrous surfaces of this Carson City Gem, and a powerful strike emboldens the design elements, including the hair strands at Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers. The surfaces on both sides are quite well preserved. David Bowers (2005) says that: "The 1891-CC is a 'must have' coin because it is from Carson city and is usually available in Uncirculated grade. However, although the mintage figure is generous for a CC dollar (1,618,000 pieces), today the coin is not in the 'common' class."
From the Reuben Reinstein Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
