Walter Breen (1977) writes of this issue: "Too often comes cleaned to death." Not so this Gem Cameo! Its well cared for surfaces display whispers of cobalt-blue, golden-tan, and lavender peripheral toning, and exhibit strong field-motif contrast. An impressive strike results in sharp design definition throughout.
