<B>1891 25C PR64 Deep Cameo PCGS.</B></I> The 1891 quarter saw 600 proofs made, a goodly number of which have apparently survived to the present day, at least according to the PCGS and NGC population/census data. Deep/Ultra Cameos are an entirely different story, as the two services have seen a mere 12 pieces, to date. This near-Gem exhibits frosty, well struck motifs that appear to glide over deep watery fields. A few minor handling marks do not disturb.
