1891 25C MS66 PCGS. After a number of years of limited mintages caused by an emphasis on silver dollar production, quarter production returned to some prominence in 1891. This final P-mint example of the Seated Liberty quarter series is readily available in low grades, but is unusual as nice as this piece; indeed, the fact that we are able to offer multiple examples of this date above the Gem level in this auction is most unusual. This smooth, toned piece enjoys cream, coffee, and cobalt-blue colors about its surfaces, as well as a good, if not quite full, strike. Peripheral die breaks, as struck, are noted on the reverse. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
