<B>1891 10C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Six hundred proof dimes were coined in 1891. While about 325 '91 proofs have been certified by NGC and PCGS, fewer than 50 coins have been assigned the cameo designation. In PR67, the grade of the piece offered in this lot, a mere three examples have been certified by the two services, and two finer. Frosty, razor-sharp motifs display a striking contrast with the deeply mirrored fields. When viewed from directly overhead, the surfaces come close to yielding a white-on-black appearance, and are well preserved throughout.
