<B>1891 10C MS68 NGC.</B></I> The Seated dime series ended with its highest mintage at Philadelphia, in excess of 15 million pieces. Unsurprisingly, type collectors flock to this issue, and many contemporary numismatists saved attractive examples. Though many such examples appear today as Premium Gems and even Superb Gems, just one coin transcends the latter category.<BR> This frosty and practically perfect piece exhibits excellent detail and colorful patina. Zones of blue-green, navy, reddish-orange, and gold appear on the obverse, while the reverse has aquamarine and celery colors around a small rose-violet center. The surfaces appear flawless to the unaided eye, and the overall eye appeal is stellar.
