<B>1890-S S$1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC.</B></I> At first glance this coin appears to be a proof in terms of its pristine fields and intense surface reflectivity. Thickly frosted devices contrast with blindingly mirrored fields (to minimize the glare, the cataloger had to turn his light out while describing this one). Each side is brilliant, with just a touch of pink-champagne at the rims. Between the Deep Prooflike fields and the lack of abrasions, this is a conditionally rare coin.
