<B>1890 S$1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS.</B></I> This conditionally rare Morgan dollar is one of the finest examples of the 1890 Philadelphia Mint issue that we have ever offered. Only eight Deep Mirror Prooflike Gems have been certified by NGC and PCGS combined, out of the many thousands of Uncirculated 1890s that the two services have examined. This piece is well struck with dynamic reflectivity noted in the fields, and noteworthy mint frost on the devices. Only minor cloudiness in the fields and a few scattered, wispy marks prevent an even finer grade designation. The coin is essentially untoned, and possesses suitable eye appeal for the grade. The cameo contrast on the obverse is particularly fine on this example.
