<B>1890-S $1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC.</B></I> The 1890-S dollar, with a mintage of more than 8 million pieces, is readily obtainable in Mint State grades. Deep Mirror Prooflike examples, on the other hand, are much more difficult to acquire, especially in Gem condition. Indeed, NGC and PCGS have graded just 13 MS65 DMPLs, and none finer! This Gem is color free and impressively struck; the hair at Liberty's ear and the breast feathers are complete. A couple of minute marks are not at all bothersome.
