<B>1890-O $1 MS65 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> <B>1890-O $1 MS65 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> The 1890-O is not known as a rare issue among Morgan Dollars, with well over 10,000 coins having received Mint State grades from the major services including resubmissions. Less than a tenth of this figure has qualified for the Prooflike or Deep Mirror Prooflike designation, and in Gem grades, any 1890-O dollar is tough to find regardless of designation. This is a mostly white coin, with a bit of hazy tan color visible over the frosty devices before giving way to bands of golden-brown near the edges. Surface abrasions tend to be magnified over mirrored surfaces, yet this coin is thankfully free of any such marks that would impede the reflective effect.
