This original Document is 1 page, measuring 9.25” x 5.25” of the official Fire Adjuster’s of “Hudson Lee” building Fire. A well known, well documented Charleston, S.C. Slave Trader, “General Agent” and Auctioneer. This Post - Civil War, Post - Emancipation Document shows that he had a major fire in his building, needing an insurance adjustment. This document is folded, with light tone along its folds, well printed with clearly readable manuscript portions.
