<B>1890-CC S$1 Tail Bar MS64 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. The Tail Bar variety is the most popular and easily recognizable variety of the 1890-CC Morgan dollar. Less than 4,000 1890-CC dollars remained in the Treasury after 1964, and those were sold with the GSA offerings of the 1970s, making the population figures for this variety problematic. This example is fully brilliant with flashy silver-white surfaces on both sides. The fields are semi-reflective, with mild cameo contrast evident. A few scattered, grade-limiting abrasions are evident on obverse and reverse alike.
