<B>1890-CC S$1 Tail Bar MS63 NGC.</B></I> VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. The popular Tail Bar variety was created by a gouge in the reverse die from this generous mintage of 2.3 million pieces. That generous mintage created numerous varieties, of which the Tail Bar is the most popular. The present example offers largely brilliant surfaces that show just the slightest cast of pink-gold near the rims on each side.
