<B>1890-CC $5 MS64 NGC.</B></I> The 1890-CC is decidedly more difficult to locate in Mint State than its 1891-CC predecessor. Since the issue is nearly unobtainable in Gem, even advanced Carson City specialists often choose an MS64 example. This flashy and reasonably struck near-Gem lacks relevant marks, although a small mint-made strike-through is concealed behind the neck.
