<B>1890-CC $20 AU58 NGC.</B></I> Increased gold deposits led to greater outputs at the Carson City Mint in 1890, resulting in a relatively high mintage of more than 90,000 double eagles. The yellow-orange surfaces on this piece are still quite lustrous, and the light abrasions noted on the surfaces are more indicative of bag storage than of extensive circulation.
