<B>1890-CC $1 Tail Bar MS65 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. Here it is, the single finest PCGS-certified 1890-CC Tailbar dollar. NGC has also certified only one example as MS65, as of (6/07). Of course, a few pieces may lurk within undesignated third party holders, but the significance of the present opportunity cannot be overemphasized. The Tailbar variety is a well known "naked eye" variety, immediately confirmed by the presence of a broad die line beneath the left edge of the tailfeathers.<BR> This lustrous Gem has orange-red and lemon peripheral shadings. The strike is precise, and the fields are gorgeously smooth. Only a couple of inconspicuous portrait grazes determine the grade.
