1890 25C PR66 Cameo NGC. The 1890 business strikes were the last of a long string of low-mintage quarters caused by the interminable glut of Morgan dollars mandated by the Bland-Allison Act, to the detriment of silver quarters and half dollars. This exerts added pressure on the few proofs produced. The present proof example, one of 590 pieces, shows silver centers with deep silver-on-black contrast, with copper patina at the peripheries and thickly frosted devices. Well struck and essentially pristine. Census: 9 in 66 Cameo, 18 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
