Three-Cent Nickels 1889 PCGS graded Proof 67. Superb! <b>Final year of this short-lived design which ran from 1865 to 1889 before being abolished by the Coinage Act of 1890. The surface has a lovely nickel-blue and white sheen that is miles better than an average quality Proof this year. The depth of strike deserves mention inasmuch as every design element is crisp, bold, clear, including the tiny letters in LIBERTY which curve along the beaded coronet.
