<B>1889 3CN PR67 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> The 1889 final-year-of-issue three cent nickel displays a relatively large proof mintage of 3,436 pieces. As might be expected, a large number have been certified by PCGS and NGC (approximately 1,700 specimens). About 120 coins rate the Cameo designation. Immaculately preserved, untoned Cameoed surfaces greet the observer of the wonderful Superb Gem presented for sale in this lot. Powerfully impressed design elements round out the coin's splendid eye appeal.
