<B>1889 $10 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> This low-mintage date (4,440 business strikes) is rare, as evidenced by fewer than 200 pieces certified by PCGS and NGC in all grades. Competition for Mint State coins is especially fierce, as only about 60 have been certified, many of which are probably resubmissions. A sharp strike is noted on this MS61 example, and lustrous surfaces exhibit sharply struck design features.
