<B>1888 S$1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> This Superb Gem is essentially white, with traces of milky haze in the fields and wisps of tan on the devices. The strike is strong, with satin fields contrasting nicely against well brought-up devices. Abrasions are minimal, in line with the grade. Although the 1888 is common in grades up to Gem, Superb pieces are anything but, and only one coin has ever been certified finer by either major grading service.
