<B>1888 G$1 MS67 </B></I> S<B> NGC.</B></I> Despite its meager mintage of 15,501 pieces, the 1888 gold dollar ranks as one of the more available issues for the series in most grades. As a Superb Gem, though, even this relatively available issue becomes scarce. This crisply struck and exquisitely preserved wheat-gold piece, strongly lustrous with a hint of reflectivity in the fields, offers stellar visual appeal.
