<B>1888<$3> MS65 PCGS.</B></I> A beautiful Gem example with reflective surfaces, rich orange-gold luster, and a sharp strike, one of a mere 5,000 business strikes minted in the next-to-last year of production for this series. While most examples of this date were not likely put into circulation and many were saved in Mint State grades, at the MS65 level this issue is anything but common. A couple of tiny abrasions are present on the cheek, and are mentioned not because they are distracting (which they are certainly not, as they are relatively tiny) but because of the fact that without them this piece would challenge a grade or two higher. A beautiful example for the type collector or specialist in the series, and certain to attract many bidders. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:</B> Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour. privileges conferred therein are strictly construed and is the exclusive
remedy. Purchaser by non-compliance to its express terms of a granted
remedy, shall waive any claim against Auctioneer.
<b>Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Provision:</b><o:p></o:p></span></li>

attorney's fees and costs. An arbitrator's award is enforceable in any
court of competent jurisdiction. Any claim made by a bidder has to be
presented within one (1) year or it is barred. Any claim as to provenance
or authenticity must first be transmitted to Auctioneer by credible and
definitive evidence and there is no assurance such presentment that
Auctioneer will validate the claim. Authentication is not an exact science
and other contrary opinions may not be recognized by Auctioneer. Auctioneer
in no event shall be responsible for consequential and incidental damages
and the value of an item is determined by its high bid, which is
Auctioneer's maximum liability. Provenance is not guaranteed by the
Auctioneer, but rather provenance is guaranteed by the consignor. Any
action or claim shall include the consignor with auctioneer acting as
interpleador or nominal party. While every effort is made to determine
provenance and authenticity it is up to the Bidder to arrive at that
conclusion prior to bidding.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

a previously consigned item occurs in violation of this provision,
Auctioneer reserves the right to charge Bidder the applicable Buyer's
