<B>1888<25C> PR67 NGC.</B></I> Because of the limited mintage of P-mint business strikes from 1879 to 1890, extra demand pressure is exerted on proofs of the era. The superb coloration on the obverse ranges from ice-blue centers to jade-green, lemon-yellow, and lilac near the rims. The reverse toning is in deeper hues of sunset-orange, magenta, and fuchsia. A delectable example of one of the rarities in the Seated Liberty series, from an original proof mintage of 832 pieces. Census: 7 in 67, 0 finer (9/06).
