<B>1888 25C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> The legally mandated production of an artificially high number of silver dollars had a negative effect on the mintage of minor silver coinage, and in 1888, Philadelphia struck just 10,001 business-strike quarters. This frosty and practically mark-free piece has untoned centers and a blend of rouge and orange toning at the margins.
