<B>1888 $1 PR66 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Breen-5600, "Very rare." The 18 in the date is recut. This specimen also displays an unusual area of planchet roughness which is noticeable on the hair detail just above and below Liberty's ear, as well as on the ear itself. Otherwise, the piece shows suitable proof sharpness on the remaining design elements, along with frosted devices and reflective fields that show trace amounts of cloudiness on both sides.
