<B>1887-S $1 MS65 NGC.</B></I> Striking varies on the 1887-S, but many show weakness on the hair over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast feathers (David Bowers, 2005). This Gem was in receipt of a solid strike, as all of the design features exhibit sharp detail, including the aforementioned areas.
