<B>1887/6 $1 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-2. A Top 100 Variety. The curve of the base of the underdigit 6 is visible on <I>both</B></I> sides of the bottom of the 7. The reverse is immaculate aside from a trace of a fingerprint near 6 o'clock, and the obverse has only inconsequential contact. A trace of gold toning denies full brilliance. Uncirculated examples of this popular overdate are generally available, but Gems are very scarce and Premium Gems are exceptionally rare.
