<B>1887 3CN MS65 NGC.</B></I> One of the rare business strikes from this date, and worth a significant premium in all grades. To underscore that last statement, the Red Book lists a value of $250 for the 1887 in Good 4! This is a definite business strike that lacks any reflectivity in the fields. Also, there is slight striking weakness on the fluted left column of the Roman numeral on the reverse--a trait usually only seen on business strikes. Brilliant throughout, the mint luster swirls around each side. The only defect is a planchet flake out of the center of the reverse.
