<B>1886 25C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> A fair number of the 886-piece mintage of 1886 proof quarters have apparently survived to the present day, if NGC/PCGS population data are any indication. Even Cameos can be located with some patience and searching, particularly in the lower numerical grades. However, Superb Cameos, such as the coin in this lot, are another story. Outstanding field-motif contrast stands out on the essentially untoned surfaces of both sides, and the exquisitely defined devices further enhance this contrast. Impeccable preservation adds to the overall eye appeal.
