<B>1886 12.5C Hawaii-Grove Ranch XF40 PCGS.</B></I> Medcalf TE-16. Medcalf states that the Grove Ranch Plantation "covered 3,870 acres. In 1885 the plantation employed 110 men and produced 1,300 tons of sugar. 110 yoke oxen were used to provide the work power." This very scarce token is medium brown and only slightly granular. All design elements are clear. Examination beneath a loupe reveals numerous thin marks.
