<B>1885-S S$1 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1885-S Dollar is all-too-often overlooked by specialists because of the large numbers of lower graded examples that were in the Redfield Hoard in 1976. However, very few examples were known before or after the release of the Redfield Dollars that could equal the technical grade and eye appeal of this amazing coin. The surfaces are brilliant and show dazzling mint luster, being fully frosted only as a San Francisco silver coin can be. Sharply struck throughout, there are virtually no abrasions on either side, just a couple of tiny, insignificant luster grazes on Liberty's cheek. In this grade, an '85-S Morgan Dollar is approaching the finest quality known.
