United States Morgan Silver Dollar dated 1885, minted in New Orleans, as indicated by the "O" mintmark. This coin has been professionally graded and encapsulated by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a grade of MS 62 (Mint State). The obverse features the profile of Lady Liberty facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with a ribbon inscribed with LIBERTY, as well as agricultural elements including two cotton blossoms and two wheat heads, symbolizing American industry and agriculture. Encircling the portrait is the Latin phrase E PLURIBUS UNUM with thirteen stars and the date 1885. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings, clutching an olive branch and three arrows in its talons, signifying peace and readiness for defense. A laurel wreath partially surrounds the eagle, and the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed above. The perimeter reads UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR.
